This project identifies the condition under which certain cognitive resources, specifically, the work-related experience and intellectual abilities of leaders, contribute to effect performance. This report describes the main activities and principal findings of this effort. Experience contributes to performance under stress. More intelligent leaders search for more information and view information items more often than do less intelligent leaders. More experienced leaders search for less information than inexperienced leaders and make more communication and administrative duties. (js)
